Savannah Technical College Foundation hosted it's 16th annual Opportunity Award Gala on January 24, 2020. The event recognizes and honors civic leaders that have demonstrated a commitment to creating opportunities for Georgians, both locally and at the state level. The STC Foundation honored Kevin Jackson, president and CEO of EnviroVac Holdings, LLC. Loretta Cockrum is on the Board of Trustees and served as Chairman for the event. The Opportunity Award Gala is a fundraiser for the Savannah Technical College Foundation which is a private, nonprofit organization that exists to raise and disburse funds to support the College's efforts to enhance learning, workforce training and economic development in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham and Liberty counties.
