Foram Group attends World Trade Center Savannah Prosperity Through Trade Luncheon.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – On Thursday, May 9 at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Foram Group attended the World Trade Center Savannah Prosperity Through Trade Luncheon. A networking and celebration event that brought together many local businesses from over the region to learn more about how to better trade domestically and Internationally. This was the first year that this luncheon was held. Our Founder, Loretta Cockrum (board member at World Trade Center Savannah), and the other board members played a huge part in the conception of this event and making it a sold-out success.

Carol Sawdye, Chief Operating Officer of the Price Water House Coopers (PwC) Network, was the keynote speaker. Her speech was on the state of international trading, as well as what the community of Savannah can do to make changes, noting that sub-par public primary education is one of the biggest obstacles for business growth in our region. Mrs. Sawdye did an amazing job and really motivated the audience with her knowledge on the subject. Besides the keynote, the World Trade Center Savannah International Business of the Year Award was presented to a regional company, KOYO from Screven County, demonstrating a leading and influential international trade business model.
