Loretta H. Cockrum

Loretta H. Cockrum is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Foram Group, Inc., a real estate asset management company specializing in property acquisition, development, management and leasing. Ms. Cockrum's passion and dedication to the real estate industry are reflected in her more than 35 years of experience in almost every facet of the business.

Since its launch in 1978, Foram Group has been dedicated to preserving and enhancing the wealth of its clients and providing hands-on asset management services for a diversified portfolio of rural and commercial properties owned by high-net-worth individuals.

Under the direction of Ms. Cockrum, Foram Group is incorporating her sustainable philosophy - practiced in agriculture - to the creation of buildings. The company is developing a 1.5 million square foot mixed use office complex, Brickell Financial Centre, which is set to become South Florida's largest "green" commercial office building, and The Bartram in Gainesville, one of the first green luxury apartment projects in the US.

Today, Foram Group manages office buildings in Jacksonville, Boca Raton and Miami, and more than 20,000 acres of farm, timberland and master planned communities in Georgia, South Carolina and Colorado.

Among Foram Group's most notable achievements is winning two BOMA Building of the Year Awards in Miami and Jacksonville, and also wining the U.S. Southern Region Building of the Year Award.

Ms. Cockrum holds a degree from West Liberty College in West Virginia. She has two daughters and six grandchildren. Ms. Cockrum serves on the Board of Directors of Miami's Downtown Development Authority and is a past president of the Brickell Area Association. She is also an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church on Brickell Avenue and a sponsor of The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
